The Capulets

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

"I have been a Sisters fan since 1988", which apparently gives me grünes licht to abuse the forum to promote any dodgy musical projects I may be involved with... :P

Well, actually this is nothing to do with me personally, but I'm currently listening to a demo CD of my mate's band The Capulets.

I think they're rather good. And it could just be me, but I hear a slight Ghost Dance vibe in some of their stuff.

Have a listen. If you like what you hear, please do drop a quick message on their myspace page. Tell them Bob's mate Steven sent you...

Not my taste, musically (I tend to not like bands with female singers, for the most part...), but the girls are *cute*! ;D

They're quite alright, considering this is a starting out band and (might be) their first demo. The Sisters/Joy Divison/etc didn't exactly arrive fully formed either.

They have a nice guitar sound, but a bit too poppy overall for my tastes.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

 Jeez, I guess this is what I get for trying to promote them on a forum filled with horny goffs and progsters...

Ah, but I see you didn't object to the adjective used.

I never object to the truth, even if it hurts (or is highly-embarrassing, etc.). ;) :von:

Hi, my name is James, and I'm both Goth and Progster...

...but yes, "progster" actually fits as well, now, to some extent...
