Each taxi can fit 4 or 5 people in -- only 3 or 4 quid each. Not too bad.

I like your style Mark - very organised and sussed. Excellent, that makes you Dad for the night then. Cheers.

Erkle.
Right, plan (what letter are we on now? )
I can fit three (or maybe four if they're friendly ) people into the fiendmobile, which I shall drive up to Dave's place some time early Saturday evening. We can hang around there until he finishes cricket, then head back into Leeds on public transport. (I'll leave the fiendmobile at Dave's.) Then I can help get some folk back into Leeds on the Sunday.
That's as far as I'm willing to go on the "dadding" stakes

I'm sure they bloody well wouldn't Sinnie. I'm really sure you'll have better things to do on the Saturday, which is kinda a shame, cos there's some images in my head now that just won't shift!
I was hoping to play at home (just down the road) with the second team, but they ain't got a game, so I'll be off to the far flung parts of Barnsley way with the firsts. Bugger. On a positive note, we're really sh1t, so it might be over early.

Book me in for the garden/garage fest ( ), although I may have to take off my Docs to preserve the no-doubt priceless Turkish rugs.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Kick arse!
Watch it, Dave - you're no match. Especially when I've got my steel-toed 20-eyes on...
What of d00meh, the good Missus Richey James, et al.?
And does this mean that the southern contingent really refuses to drive a scant handful of hours for a weekend that promises to be full of mischief and mayhem? For shame. Pffffft.

Aha!
Actually, my home-away-from-home whilst traipsing around on the correct side of The Pond will be my cousin's lovely cottage near Oxford. That's rather close to London, innit?
