Just trying to decide how much to bring in terms of documenting the occasion.
My phone has space for just over a thousand snaps and/or about an hour of 640x480 @ 30fps video so that'll get fully charged and emptied ready for over use.
Above that I'm mulling over bringing my Holga and a roll or two of medium-Pro 120 film. It's got a four colour flash so could be good fun Saturday night. Z in orange + blue flash = ?
I might even christen my Lomo CyberSampler that takes four pics over the space of 1sec and then places them on one image - could be good for "chaos ensuing" shots - but it has no flash and I've only got 200asa film (ie highly sunny days only)
Does anybody think it's worth pushing the boat out on this front or is it liable to be a bit OTT for the occasion ?

Myself and the little woman will be arriving in Leeds at around 4.15, dump stuff at the travelodge then off the the "eat as much as you want" chinese that's just outside the station for tea, if you want to join us? No doubt you will be back in Manc packing all your beauty products and hair gell that you will use over the weekend...Quiff Boy wrote:who's around leeds for lunch on friday then?

You won't be needing any fancy gadgetry for that Andrew. There's a pic of a previous garage party somewhere (mebeez in the gallery) - time / space distortion has never been captured so wellCarpathian Psychonaut wrote: - could be good for "chaos ensuing" shots -

Depends on what time Sinnie gets to Leeds for, which she thoughtfully hasn't told me (although i suspect its cos she doesnt have a clue herself as yet).Quiff Boy wrote:who's around leeds for lunch on friday then?

I did get 'the fear' when I read what time you were coming in Steve and imagined Zed arriving in Glass-gow tomorrow at that time. Brrrrrrr.... so cold......Pista wrote:Amen to thatweebleswobble wrote:Against my religion Brother!James Blast wrote:aye, ah couldnae see you layin' aff thi bevvy till midnight

Guilty as charged there, guv. AFAIK, my cousin Craig's purchasing me a choo-choo ticket for sometime Friday afternoon/early evening, but I've no details yet...Planet Dave wrote:Depends on what time Sinnie gets to Leeds for, which she thoughtfully hasn't told me (although i suspect its cos she doesnt have a clue herself as yet).Quiff Boy wrote:who's around leeds for lunch on friday then?

@ Carps: Dang, man, that's hardcore.
@ Snowey/his missus/the lovely HL lasses/anyone else: erm...anyone bringing a flat iron (not crimper) for hair along? I can't bring mine, as it's not dual voltage. Pfffft.

Somethings are beginning to fall into place, at last. Oh boy oh boy oh boy.
No worries with the trains Erika - thats a fine time, it means we can take Jos & the kids out through the day (assuming they're still coming - that one hasn't fallen into place yet )
For all those comin back to mine, erm, bring yer dancin shoes.

It's what I enjoy doing - it's a biatch that medium format film needs a pro lab to develop but it's good fun. Thinking about it though it's far more important I bring my absinthe than a pile of wacky plastic cameras.SINsister wrote:@ Carps: Dang, man, that's hardcore.
I'm sure others on here may second that

Not been around here for a bit but I'll be there on Sat & Sun. Canae make the Friday.
Without (I always say this...) going through every page to find meeting times etc for Sat can someone tell me what's happening!?!
Go on Planet, PM me.
I'm up for an early(ish) start in Leeds if anyone else is & I'm bloody well looking forward to it.

I'm expecting to arrive in Leeds (city centre) sometime about 4:00 PM Friday, but that evening is going to be for crashing out/settling in/bit of grub, then straight to the main event.
Definitely up for the early(er) start on Saturday also - anyone who knows the place care to suggest a good meeting spot?

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
