Who is this?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

He looks like Tom Cruise at an audition for 'One flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'

So is he a fan or was he is the band at some random point in time?

...after being hit in the face with the "even uglier than Tom Cruise already is" stick.

Swiftly edited to add that I disagree with Purp's assessment above. Looks nothing like you Michael.

Just a journo AFAIK.

Phew, at least we've sorted out who's in the middle. So who is the shrivlled, gnarly old short guy with the thinning thatch on the end?

What?!! Really!! Oops!

Must've had a REALLY hard paper round!

That'd be Robochrist. ;D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Thank Christ that's Robo. For a minute I thought it was really Andrew. Madame Tussauds really are getting worse than ever!

It's a small world (and it smells funny) but back in the day, the speed & smack people I house-shared with knew Si through crewing at Leeds Uni and Poly. When he was due to pop round, I asked Al whether he thought Si would sign my copy of Natural History.

Al said "don't you fcukin' dare!"

That must put you way up there with the 'People not to invite to your house whilst someone who has released a record is visiting.'
Or is it just that the 'smack & speed' people have a little more respect for people than you do.

that's strange. after Sisters gig in Zürich (2005) I asked him to sign my ticket. he was very very polite and agree. unfortunately neither of us had a pen. then mr D said that he would come back later. and later I suddenly heard someone asking me: "dou you have a pen now?" it was him. I had (i. e. someone - maybe Eva or Andrew - was there, having a pen) and he signed my ticket.
and another funny story, from Phoenix last year. again that nice mr Nurse signed my setlist, writing "PHEONIX" and "NURSE" and "THANKZ 4 COMING". later I got it signed by Ben and Chris. Nurse used black pen, other guys blue. so it's still seen that 'Pheonix' is corrected to 'Phoenix' by someone else (CC)
PS one day, when I have time, I will take pictures of all those weird things and upload them to HL gallery. sorry for being slow and lazy...
