21-12-1993 dark xmas over london

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

patricia left the sisters in 1989 after the floodland album!

i think in 1993(overbombing tour) in the backing vocals and keiboards was Jovanka Wilsdorf

There was a Suzanne Jocesowicz (sp?) too, it that the one you were thinking of, Rob? I think she was earlier though.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

:von: booted Patricia Morrison out of the band before the Vision Thing came together. Also, he owed her money and was being a complete arse. However, Miss Morrison bounced back, joined the Damned and married the lead singer! :notworthy:

Her website is a little old, but the story is somewhere here: http://www.patriciamorrison.co.uk/

Also, she still looks hot for her age! Check out the gallery!

Anyway... the Floyd gals at the Brixton Sisters gig were Suzanne Josesowicz and Hermine Karo, according to a great Sisters tour website that became http://db.tsom.org/index.html

I think the backing vocalists ruin Come Together on the Xmas in London one. :urff:

All I have is that abandoned site to go by. They list Jovanka Wilsdorf for the first leg of the 1991 tour. However, I do not not doubt... um... your doubt.

I only have the three Floyd gals documented... Jovanka Wilsdorf in 1991, Suzanne Josesowicz and Hermine Karo in 1993. I'm certain that aforementioned abandoned website could be wrong. :innocent:

Oh my... who can I trust now!? :?

susan józefowicz was a nurse to the doctor in the middle of 91 tour thing and she was doing backing vocals as well. so jovanka is probably that one from dark christmas and other gigs from 93.

I think you can see a glimpse of one of them in the Miami '91 and Lorelei 1992 DVDs but I could be wrong. Didn't one of them play keyboards at one point?

The gigs with the female backing vocalists have to be the best. Burn, Brixton 1993, absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g :D

Speaking of the Brixton gig. The weed of Dark Christmas In London is brilliant quality (possibly soundboard) but misses Train/Det. Blvd and Burn. A few weeks back those tracks were posted but in lesser quality, does anyone have the tracks in the same quality as DCIL?
