School's Out - Heartland August 2007 Weekender

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Please analyse the following closely. How does Mr. Nice Name (as he shall forever be known to me   ) do this with his arms? Amazing. No, really.

a) Is that my last or first name you're referring to? Let me have a guess  ;D
b) What the f**k am I doing there? My shoulder starts itching by just watching that, bloody hell

But, back to what I came to this thread for: Had a jolly good time on your island there, and first of all I want to thank all of you who made it possible. Blast for picking me up from GLA, Andrew for letting me stay at his in Glasgow (lovely city, but I'll get back to that in a more appropriate place ;D), Weebles for letting me stay at his in Leeds, Dave for letting us all have a spin on his Planet and obviously Quiffy for making all this actually happen :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

It was great meeting up with those old familiar faces I hadn't seen for quite a bit but also delightful to get to see lots of new faces! Fantastic to get to see Carpy after having heard so much music from your side, superb to meet Sinny (quite possibly one of the best things to come from the other side of the ocean in quite some time!) and Markyfiend, possibly some of the best people you could wish to watch we're being nice and all  :notworthy: Most amazing to finally get to meet Hom and MH too, you guys rocked lots!

And obviously extra "you rock"s go out to my mate in Weebles' Inn, perfect companions one and all :notworthy:

You'll have to bear with my forgetfulness now, but after my trip I'm currently very much in this state:

I'll try and upload some photos later on, though there's not too many HL ones I'm afraid.

Already missing it :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Great pic! Now I can place faces to some of you I had not seen before...

I am glad Andrew and Steve are wearing Sisters' shirts otherwise it would have been a pic overruled by a Mish shirt.... :D
