Southern HLer meetup?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I told Martin (Milk) that I'd make a heroic attempt to see them, but unless I can crash at someone's in or near London Town, I'll have to head back to Banbury well before the show starts. Dagnabbit! Sod these folks living out in the boonies! J/k. ;)

It appears that the last train back to Banbury from Marylebone station's at 23:45; the next one after that's not until 07:35 the next morning - so I really can't risk missing it! Poo.

Don't worry we'll get you back to Marylebone :D.

Do you have to book the return ticket for a certain time or can you get on whenever?

if you can sort out getting home or something i'll possibly see ya there...i can't imagine that the gig will go on after 11.00pm when it has a 8.00pm kick off...

i could sort ya out with a bed...but i'm over an hour from London by train...which would mean super long traveling on a Sunday morning to get back to Banbury....

your call!

Going for an open-return ticket, it's just the matter of booking a taxi to fetch me at the Banbury station (I don't fancy the idea of sleeping there, haha!)...

Ok that open ticket thing sounds like a good idea. So looks like we'll be meeting at Marylebone instead of Camden? Is that ok with the others? Who else is coming?

:D looking forward to it!

I can't be there this weekend, which is a shame. But (although Sinny won't be able to attend) I'd be up for organising another South meet soon.

Its my wedding anniversary this weekend- a particular shame as I fancied a trip to Camden :(

My advice- pop into the Proud gallery in the middle of Camden market for a drink, Amy and myself love it there and I'm sure you'll appreciate the aesthetic of the rooftop bar ;)

:D

Sinnie is arriving at Marylebone in the afternoon (is that right sinnie? what time do you think it'll be?) so me and anyone else could pick her up from Marylebone and then go onto Camden.

Doctor, do you wanna meet us at Marylebone or Camden?

I only have two other pictures, one of them is the same as the one above but not as good and the other is very blurry.

Anyway, the story as far as I can remember...
I met Erika at about 11 at Marylebone and we went off to Camden Town. Showed Erika round Camden, had a look at some shops and got some food to eat by the canal. All this time we're wondering how we're gonna meet Dr. Moody cause the forum went offline before we could get his mobile number.

Then we went back into the market and by pure chance as we're walking past a shop this voice out of nowhere (well, in front of us) says "Sinnie!" and it was Steve! In true Irish fashion the first thing he says is "So, do you two fancy going for a drink?"
So off we go to the Devonshire Arms for a pint or four and a chat about all sorts (including you lot! 8))
About 20:30ish Steve had to go but me and Erika stayed a bit to hear the DJ play Heartland at our request :notworthy: Then we went off to get some more food and then back to Marylebone.

Had an absolutely fantastic day with you guys :D Hopefully we can do it again soon :D :notworthy:
