Hot Fuzz?
It's on Sky Box office now, is it worth the £3.99?

I liked it.
If you're a fan of Spaced and Shaun of the Dead, then you'll know roughly what to expect - it flies by pretty quickly, there's a ton of references to various cult shows/films over the years, many of which go right over your head at the time, but not to the detriment of my enjoyment.
That said, they seemed to concentrate less on being funny and more on making a decent action film, which made it a much better watch than SOTD for me. I thought Spaced was one of the best shows I've ever seen, but Shaun of the Dead felt like it was trying to hard to be funny. Hot Fuzz is a homage to Hollywood action films, but they keep it very English (if that makes any sense).
Anyway, £3.99 to watch it. I'd join a DVD club for £12 a month and get unlimited rentals rather than pay £4 to watch only one film!!!

If you are going to pay that much for any movie then you might as well watch Hot Fuzz. I loved it though I reckon its about forty minutes too long and could have been funnier. Not as good as Shaun of the Dead.
