sumo

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just wondering...i'm quite keen on sumo-wrestling, it's the only sports i can stomach actually. The thing is, this one sumo-wrestler, Takamisakari, has apparently written a book, and he has quite an interesting outlook on things (and you can see immediately that he has a differing attitude from other wrestler), says he wants to be the Miyamoto Musashi of sumo-wrestling.

Anyway, this is a far chance, but anyone here know about this book? Has it been translated to english? Where can i get it? How can i find it?
Sumo-sites are generally in language and characters i can't understand :(

Haha, i don't seriously expect replies...but there's always the unexpected... :P

I'd rather stare at clouds than watch sumo

Not tainted by something humanely conjectured.

i s'pose in this case it means they don't look fat in the way that people who stare at tv and feed themselves with cheese-paste do. :)

You're right, they usually follow a high-protein dietary regimen specifically designed to gain weight.

Example.

A few years ago they used to show Sumo on TV here (Channel 4, I think). The presenter (whose name I don't recall) was one of the foremost western experts on the sport, so I really found out a lot about it just from watching and listening to his commentaries.

Hey, there's a good few tens of thousands of morbidly obese Americans waddling about insisting there's no connection between their massive arses and the vast quanities of burgers they eat :innocent:

Steven, I couldn't help but be reminded of "Inner City Sumo"...

That would be assuming there's anything even remotely resembling real cheese in a Cheesy Wotsit.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
