Hello,
can someone tell me how many records were pressed of the Body Electric single (CNT)?
Also: what's the value of Temple of Love Himalaya records (black vinyl 12") and Alice (white sleeve misprint 7").
Thanks!

A Belgian... we don't get too many of those here...
Welcome.
Haven't a clue about your questions, but pop over to General Chat and do introduce yourself.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Hello and welcome.
I think the Alice misprint white sleeve is probably worth between £7 and £10 (€10 to €15)

used to be £25 or so!markfiend wrote:Hello and welcome.

seems that prices for alot of sisters things are falling rapidly at the mo - B&S white/black pic sleeve went for less than £4 last week; We're All Aware pd lp & Saints & Martyrs lp together for less than £15.
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

I may be wrong with my pricing...
But yeah, the perceived value of Sisters stuff is falling as "their appeal is becoming more selective".

Hi guys, thanks for replys.
I bought the Himalaya item (black record) 2 months ago in Brussels for.... 10€ (7£), can you believe? The seller had probably no idea...
At deadagain: hopefully the damage done is falling too It's bin a long time that I have seen it on ebay (6 months ago?).
Grtz

@Hom_Corleone: the poor man had two Himalaya items... on that moment I had no idea...
Still chances but probably you will have the record already, no?
Any idea of the quantity pressed of Body El?

It's not just the Sisters, I see many cd's & vinyl on ebay, for a fraction of what they sold for 5 years ago.markfiend wrote:I may be wrong with my pricing...

I think it has a lot to do with download sites & everyone having a cd burner these days. Very few people 'have' to pay top doller these days for o.o.p stuff, that they just want to listen to. There are various ways of getting hold of it.
Give me one good reason
that's a good price! the standard Himalaya 12" never went for more than £8-10, even back in the early 90s. The red vinyl version used to go for anything from £25, up to £40, but hasn't seen those prices for ages.cardoman wrote:Hi guys, thanks for replys.

@ spiggy's hat: when I am looking at trading places (f.e. ebay) I cannot see these value degrading. Body electric for 90$, damage done for 350£. You mean that in the earlier days this kind of products were even more expensive?
Damage Done used to be priced at anywhere from £100-£200, Body Electric £25-£40; I expect Damage Done will always retain a high value - 1st singles generally do have a wider appeal to more collectors, abit like 1st editions of first novels.cardoman wrote:Thanks deadagain.deadagain wrote:that's a good price! the standard Himalaya 12" never went for more than £8-10, even back in the early 90s.
