Known Unknowns

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Unfortunately no.

I had heard about them from a variety of sources that seemed to be legit, but not interested in trading them.

The edits are getting faster. I think he's evolving to a state where he'll just post blank posts straight off. In un-titled threads.

Do you mean there's a good version of Athens 97?

But that Gelsenkirchen isn't rare anymore, even i had it.

And if you have those, i'll offer a few gigs of what i have for each of those

I don't trade or weed, because I've nothing to offer. But I've always wondered if anyone recorded Boston '91 or Chicago '99, only because those were my first two encounters with the Sissies, and they're a bit of a blur, now...

According to PIB's site there's also Chicago 99, as well as most of the other US gigs from 99...maybe he has them.

I just made this list out of all the posts in this topic and from some tradinglists.

The question is: can someone offer something from this list??

I've got both Toronto and Vegas '06; I'm really only interested in Boston '91 and Chicago '99 for nostalgic reasons.

Define "good" and "rare"..? Live recordings are full of fans' yelling/screaming/coughing/blabbing, errant noise, the constant (and annoying) fading in and out of sound, muddiness, etc. I don't get the attraction, really...

Haha, well, i have tons of recordings i don't list anywhere cause i don't think live recordings need to be like that...they are in a dark forgotten corner waiting for someone to throw them out. And i would if i could find them.

But good in the case of Toronto means...is it the one shared, which was basically just garble and not in any way listenable to my ears or a better one, which i've heard exists, that you can actually hear music?
