Sisters = Tom Jones???

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Lets examine the evidence:

1) They haven't released anything new in over 10 years - yep!
2) The last new release was a soppy love ballad that everyone (well, nearly everyone) absolutely loathed - yep!
3) All we've got since then are compilations (plural counts if you include Shot 2.0) of stuff we already have - yep!
4) They wheel their carcasses out for an annual tour of a few festivals - yep!
5) Oh, the novelty cover versions!!! Yep!!!!

I'm pretty sure Von's hair is his own. And he's not welsh, though the Malverns are dangerously close to shell-suit land...

Well apart from that album of new material Tom Jones did in 1994 you're almost right. You know the one where he got in some guy to produce it who'd worked with Nine Inch Nails.
