No it doesn't - I flirted like loads on tests 4 though 7, but had given up by tests 8 through 11.
My theory test ran out a while back so I'm back to square one.
Thanks for bringing up a painful subject

it'll probably be easier to pass the test in one of those new compacts than your usual ride:

There's nothing like driving a car on an empty freeway, but you already know that I gather Good luck!
Good luck! Think karmic thoughts. Think it depends on which side of the bed the examiner got out of. Think it depends on how other drivers are driving that day. Remember you can't control that. Think that you should just do your thing safely, and get to where you're asked to go with a minimum of fuss.
If you fail, think the examiner was an are sole. Stick pins in a voodoo doll. Try again. Second time was a lot better for me. Once I'd failed once, I didn't have the pressure of everyone waiting to see if I'd pass first time. Failing once or twice is increasingly common, and is not a bad thing so long as you get there in the end. It's just more expensive that way.

Have you taken the Written exam yet?
If not pop down to your local booksellers asap and get the DVLA self test book on it! - You get to answer 500 of the 700 questions - A B C D before you take the exam - It worked for me and for the 4 people I lent the book to after I passed!
My best advice for the practical exam is USE YOUR OWN CAR (if you can) - not a learners car and practice practice practice!
Best of Luck - Hope you Pass, and I am sure you will
