Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

New tip, Marco: get over yourself. I'm not interested in your sexist crap, thanks. Nor is anyone else, I'm sure.

By the way, I'm a mod here; you're not. I take the job seriously, too, because I care very much about Heartland and its members. If you don't care for the way Heartland's administrated, start your own forum! ;D
I'd just like to add to Sinnie's comment that it's not only a matter of personal taste and opinion. Some people surf HL from work, and could potentially get into trouble if certain images are used.

The name of the game is playing fair.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

still, that's another reason we don't post 'questionable' pics here

what sinnie, mh and blast say about 'non-work safe' images is Heartland policy.

Something very odd going on with the colour of the sky yesterday

Normally the glass in this window is white

Seems most of the drama of this effect is left out on the picture though

I like that though - the thought of the unseen is always more mysterious than anything you can see....

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, the Tussaud's photos you posted were pure, startling horror. Some people are just more sensitive to such things, Marco...and as others have said, it's about fairness to our fellow Heartlanders. And respect for them, too.

You can steal all you want, would be honoured if you would :D Want me to send you the unedited version? Slightly cropped it and tried to get the perspective right (though I think I failed on that )

Another one from the hols. I like the effect of the tiny jeep and village, with the great big massive humungous f--k off rock looming up behind them through the hazy air.

That landscape goes quite well with your avatar, mh. I can just see Wile E Coyote running off the edge of the rock, realising there's no ground under him, holding up a sign saying "HELP!" and then...

WHEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... Splat.
