Currently Recruiting:- Female Soccer players

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Greetings all - after my Faux Pas last night, I thought I would try and make amends with the following:-

The Raven Queen has suggested that she would like to captain a female soccer team, tenuously called Heartland XXX (- something - your suggestions please?) - I suggested that as a very lanky spider-type female person, she should be in goal ...

So, presumably this team would require a sponsor - Not 'Northern Wreck' of course ... Merciful Release perhaps?

I have done (a little) research on all of this, and it seems as though this could be a new thread, although I'm open to chastisement of course (ooh, whip me more!)  :notworthy:
They (The Establishment) use sex as an addiction for control, just as they use alcohol and drugs ...
- A programme of systematic frustration in order to sell this crock of s**t as immortality, a garden of delights and love. ...

ETA: and for the last time, I don't WANT to play goal! Grrrrr.
I left my heart in Ballycastle...

Well, I just read a study from Sweden (or was it Finland?) that claims that footy burns more calories and fat than jogging. Plus, it's far more fun, and potentially hazardous. Hooray!

I was so glad we never had to play rugby against the girls. They'd have f**king slaughtered us.
Seriously, first mixed PE lessons we had were in Y11, and we were playing hockey. One lesson in and I noticed my finger had been bleeding from an impact injury for a good few minutes.
They'd managed to injure me with a hockey stick and I didn't even feel it. Imagine what they could have done on a rugby pitch.

You wanna see if there's any goths play for man city - as big a bunch of girls as i've ever seen.

Can just picture Ms Strange diving in with a studs-up two-footed lunge at some poor saps ankles. Ouch!

Agreed. However, I dunno how to swim, and there are no free indoor pools here.
