Boris Johnson for Mayor?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I think it'd be hilarious!

But then, I'm not a Londoner.

Taking no sides, he is a very shrewd man with a bufoon persona...no ideas what the policies are though on either side. So in flagrant disregard to convention I will reserve judgement and be cynical about anyone seeking election to any post... :D

I agree with Zuma.

Anyone voting for him "because it's cuddly old Boris" deserves to be shot IMO }) (Of course this is a large portion of his election strategy.)

Don't forget that he's a Tory...

I have a signed picture of him that he sent to me after I emailed his office claiming he was the second coming.

 Ok that is rather sp00ky... I was going to point out the (glaringly obvious) fact that the Bozmeister is indeed the Second Coming.

But then I thought you would all just think I was (more) nuts.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who realises. Where are the other 10 apostles then?

Good reasons not to support someone who also looks like Ted Heath.
All my life I've wanted to be someone; I guess I should have been more specific.

He's quite amusing at times on Have I Got News For You, and that's as much as I can say in his favour. However, 'personality' and 'wit' are f**k all excuse for deeply objectionable points of view.

FWIW number 4 isn't that much of a problem for me. At least nuclear is less carbon-intensive than coal, oil or gas.
