Nero Burning problem...help ?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

received a live cdr where all the songs are separated with a silence pause that become fastidious after few minute

i tryed to take the files in wmp music box and re burn it with nero using the option "no separated track" but the result was the same

is there the chance to get a full live without any pause between each song ?

you'll need to manually edit out the silences in a music editing programme, I is Mac so can't comment on peecee ones

Transfer the cd to pc as wav, load all the files into something like soundforge or adobe audition and join them together/remove silences/make sure it plays without glitches. Save as 1 large wav then use CDWave to cut it up into tracks (it cuts the wav on the correct sector boundaries), then burn to a new cd.

It's a piece of p*ss, but probably hard if you're not familiar with the software.

Another thing with cd wave is that you can see the places where the gaps are & you can simply cut them out.
What you end up with is a bunch of songs & a bunch of pauses. Delete all the pauses & burn your gapless disc.
Cheers.

I've used Goldwave for this, too.

It's not difficult, just a pain in the arse.

this happened because orinally the cd was burned using " put pause between each song" option instead of "no pause between each song" ones

now I have dig out the 15 song files (wave format) but if i re burn it with "no pause between each song" click the result is the same : 15 separated live song !
