Radio - live transmission

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Horribly cross posted from my livejournal but I'm LAZY right?

As part of the launch for Tranmission the new exciting incarnation of Friday Flock onna Saturday (TTNEIFFOS) we're putting on a band first... called Transmission (TTB).
Which came first the band or the night. probably neither since they're both Joy Division references. anyhoo I digress.

They're a top notch* Joy Division recreation ('covers band' doesn't really do them justice...) so I'm prodding you guys early so that you put it in your diaries and come along to see TTB. it's £5 in but that gets you into TTNEIFFOS too. Please let your friend's know - it's important we get as many people to this gig and to the launch of TTNEIFFOS as possible. Gotta impress those freshers and the new people we hope to drag in kicking and screaming :)

so:

Saturday 13th October - theSubculture, Leeds

8pm Transmission the band £5
10pm Transmission the clubnight £3 before 11, £4 after.

*so good in fact that you'll be wondering why the singer doesn't smell worse...

Woah.
Best of luck for the night.
I'll find it a tad tricky getting there from Hungary, but I'll look forward to any reviews.
Cheers.

That sarcasm/silliness just a bit too subtle for you Alister? Keep up man! :P

Believe me I can and will very happily let my birthday stroll past this year without even raising an eyebrow. But I'll be coming to the gig regardless.
