Help Needed - Stagnation Problem

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Good people of Heartland.....

I have decided it is time to do something other than moaning about my boring anti-social job. I can't deal with the dull people I have to speak to every day or the near-divorce causing shifts.

I went to the modernised Job Centre last week and ran a computer based skills and interests match on their system and up tops came teaching of some sorts.

Now I've always fancied doing something like this but never had the balls to make the break - BUT I have decided to do something about it instead of moaning. So, TEFL came up - which really appeals..teaching English to adults etc...

I don't want to just go into this blind and do the TEFL course - I would be interested in going down the teaching route and later specialising in that later.

Could anybody help me? Advise on where to start etc..would be most appreciated. PM's glady received. :D

I can't really offer any help, but I send you my heartfelt best wishes for the change. And my congratulations for your energy to face a change, as it does take a lot of guts even if it's vital. :notworthy:

I've had to resign deliberately from my lethally boring job in a team of mobbing bitches and boss from hell simply to put myself under enough pressure in order to really look for something better. And I wish I already knew exactly what I should be looking for...

I might be right there with you, soon, man - TEFL's looking like one of my only options for being able to work in the EU legally, at this point.
