When that happens to me (like around the same time as yours) I tend to close the window once I realise it's just not going to get there. I'd therefore probably have the odd one to post in here if I let it go through.SINsister wrote:after HL "chugged," slow as molasses, and wouldn't load...
Just reporting this in case it helps!
(Had to happen - got three in a row while trying to post this - the little blighters always get you in the end! )

Aye - encountered several more just now - thought I wasn't going to be able to get in at all! Oh, well, I should probably be doing something other than sitting in front of the 'puter 24/7, eh?

i dunno what to do. i can turn HL off for a while if it makes anyone feel better?
i dont get it at all - i just dont see any errors. sometimes its a bit slow, but i dont ever see any '500 errors'
i've moved hotsing companies enough f*cking times - i'm not moving again. it costs me a fortune and we had to leave the last one because we use up too much bandwidth
please, just hang on in there. i'll see if the hosting co can help...

looks like the browser not handling large images properly...Ozpat wrote: ......Blast! Nothing do do with the Mac hey?
Mentioned errors all the time now and even more slow than before....
possible solutions:
1) use a diff browser
2) try a diff theme
3) turn off images
sorry - that oe really IS out of my hands

We appreciate all the above and I guess people just report the errors in case it can be useful for you - we just want to help if we can. If there's anything we can do from here then just yell out!Quiff Boy wrote:i dunno what to do. i can turn HL off for a while if it makes anyone feel better?

i know you all mean well but there's a fine line between me knowing there's a problem and me feeling lik ethe thing is on its knees while all the time being badgered about it
sorry guys. i'm just not sure what to do about it.
i'm going to try and look at the server and php logs and see what the 500 errors are about.
other than that i am out of options...
