jod div message boards?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I've looked too, in the past, and found nothing of note unfortunately.

Yer'd think there'd be something out there for a band like that!!

yeah, should be both new order and joy division

i imagine that at least two thirds of sisters fans are either joy div or new order fans.

Was just gonna mention that one QB!!! I've been hanging around there quite a bit, they have some decent folks who won't be rude to newbies, and the discussion does cover a lot of JD stuff as well. Lots of stuff about bootlegs, MP3s (which NO have a considerably more laid-back attitude towards than the Sisters), all the good stuff basically. Some of the humour can get pretty surreal at times too, which is always a good sign.

You may be interested to learn that some of the members are getting together to do their own "NewOrderOnline" tribute album, so there's quite a bit of activity in terms of unusual/interesting cover versions being made available.

Oh yeh - some of the people on it are, shall we say, close to the band, so you can expect a few tidbits of news from time to time as well.

Main thing to look out for is that it can be slow as hell.

cool 8)

is it worth me doing one then? :urff: if that one is as good as you say, is obviously very popular, and has (semi)official input?

would another one serve any purpose? :?:

It even looks quite nice. Not quite up to the minimalist majesty of our own heartland, but still a damn sight better than other places I've been.
