My Heartland tshirt

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Was that not what you ordered?

This all sounds like a misunderstanding. Maybe the second shirt (which is in a second package) is still in transit? Maybe we are confused by what was received already? Maybe the slowness in the second package is due to the recent postal strike backlog? I am just specualting.

If it makes you feel better, I received my shirt from Quiff Boy without any problems, and it was sent a much farther distance from England than Portugal. (Plus, it takes three months to get my Christmas cards from Glasgow. :?: ) QB certainly is not trying to cheat you out of your payment. Many of us here have had smooth transactions with him. I suspect that the second shirt is simply held up along the postal route somewhere. It may sound strange, but I have had mail sent at the same time to the same city end up in my friends' mailboxes several days apart. Something similar may be happening with the two packages which were sent to you.

can you please change L into M...?

Thanx in advance...

S = Small - de Pequeno Porte
M = Medium - de Medio Porte
L = Large - de Grande Porte

Para que postar consta que voce recebido Um Blusa Feminino de Pequeno Porte, apenas voce alteracao el perdido Blusa Masculino de Grande Porte, para Um Novo Blusa Masculino de Medio Porte.

(That post says you received 1 Small Female Shirt, but you want to exchange your missing Large Male Shirt, for a new Medium Male Shirt instead.)

Por qualquer meio, que postar acima mencionado avisado para que voce recebido Um Blusa Masculino de Grande Porte, apenas voce aquisição para Um Blusa Feminino de Pequeno Porte entretantos perdido.

(However, the post above advises that you have in fact received the Large Male Shirt, but you have not received the Small Female Shirt.)

Dirge, just to make you at ease, I ordered my t-shirt years ago without any problems, so be sure this case will be solved.

Quiffy is a cool guy and was always correct with stuff.

and i am fairly sure i sent out 2 parcels, each containing a large men's shirt, AS YOUR ORDER STATES, but i acknowledge i may have packed one of them incorrectly.

however, you have now told me 3 different versions of what you have received. that is why i am confused.

this gives us two options:

1) if the second shirt has not yet turned up, and you wish to cancel your order, please return the shirt you already have and i will reimburse you the full cost of your order and the cost of the return postage.

if the second missing shirt turns up you can then return that too, and i will reimburse you the cost of that item's postage also.

2) if you don't want to return the shirt(s) and cancel the order, please - tell me clearly ONCE AND FOR ALL what you have received so far. i will compare this with your paypal order (as above) and send you any outstanding items.

as with option 1, if the second missing shirt turns up eventually, you can then return that too, and i will reimburse you the cost of that item's postage as before.

i'm sorry this has turned out to be more complicated that it should be but i really am trying to help you. its just that your differing accounts of the story are confusing and hard to follow.

i guess there's a lesson here for me regarding selling stuff online :roll: :urff:

When I ordered my t-shirt it arrived without problem. I'm sorry to hear this guy is having problems but in my case I would give good customer feedback.

Well my uncle's fluent in the language, as he's a former (now retired) University Lecturer in Portuguese, and has also written his own published study course on learning the language, setup an online learning website and was made an honorary Knight Commander for his services to the Portuguese People and the Embassy in London :wink:

I would concur - as I recall it took about 10 days to get the shirt delivered from WhereverQuiffyIs to WhereverIam, which is pretty speedy. Sounds like there was a bit of a mixup between Dirge's mouth, his friend's ears, and His Heartlandic Majesty's email box - oh how we larfed :lol:

Then, obviously, do the same with the T-shirt.
