THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.
With my wife away in France on a Christmas shopping trip it seemed foolish to sit at home, so one ticket purchased. See you there. With The Young Gods the night before it's shaping up to be a busy few days.
I got my Train/Plane/Gig Tickets booked today ..........see you in Leeds
Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

Good work, I'd been checking every couple of hours for about 4 days, I'm just pleased my payment is taken, and I'll be there to see a small peice of goth history
All I need to do now is finally see The m*****n and my Live Goth task is complete, luckily I'll be there to see the Sisters Of Murphy, and by all accounts The Mish are in support, so all's good
Its gonna be mega! I suppose we're gonna have to have a meet up?
I have pre ordered the CD, I'm also looking forward to getting the shirt, I'll be able to wear an old school 80's goth bands shirt and say I was there. WINNER!
I havn't planned for accomodation, I hope to sort of reach 3am and then just carry on partying!
John_r wrote:Matt, is that Young Gods gig part of this acoustic setup they have been working on, or a "normal" fully electric/electronic gig?
I haven't seen them in ages, Shepards Bush Empire I think maybe 10 or 12 years back.
Not too sure to be honest, i to saw them at Shepherd Bush a long time ago, but the last time was at the Garage in London (probably nearly 10 years ago!). They've just moved the gig from The Croft, which is very small to The Cooler which isn't as small. I'll have to investigate.
