HBD Carpy

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Thanks folks, it's been a tough few days. As you may have missed in another thread I've down at CarpyParents in Shropshire which started with realising my mothers 56k dialup modem just won't cut it on the InterWWWeb these days....but ended with my father being rushed off in a blue-light ambulance with a suspected heart attack! He's back home today though the hospital aren't entirely sure what it was. Their best guess (jeeez, medical science eh!) is that the large muscle behind the heart had shifted and caused his heart to jolt out of rhythm.

It's all pretty scary considering he also currently has an aneurysm on his aorta that he needs to get sorted. Dodgy times in the CarpyParent houseold indeed.

This here eBirthday-card-thread-thingie is a great thing to find waiting now I'm home. Perfect timing and I thank you all from the heart of my bottom.

No. Wait a minute. That doesn't look right, does it?

Sorry to hear that man, hope all works out well.

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Hoping your Dad gets sorted asap Andrew. I knew I should've set up a freelance Perfusion Service the other year, I'd have been round to sort that dicky aorta and iffy muscle no problem. Really. Everything crossed for him, and you all.
