Bill Bailey

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Went to see Bill Bailey last night, doing his comedy and music thing. Just have to say, if anyone gets the chance to see his show in a town near you, GO! He's fantastic. Highlights of the evening: the seventies prog rock pastiche 'Who Stole the Leg of Time', and 'Portishead do the national anthem'. Maybe you had to be there. Just go!

Didn't he used to be in Hawkwind? (Sorry Paddy!!!)
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

On the mention of a Bill Bailey "Tour" - does anyone have the tour dates and locations - or perhaps a URL for the Tour?

Just thought I would ask :-)

We checked out the prices for Bill Bailey at the Wyndam Theatre, Charing Cross Road in October and the cheap seats were 19 quid, the rest were 32 quid upwards. We decided Bill Bailey is funny but he's not 62 quids worth of funny when we can wait for the video.  :)
