A separate gallery sounds like a fine idea Iz. There's definitely far too much good stuff in this topic (easily HL's finest, IMO) for it to be lost in the ether.

A separate gallery's not really a problem, less so when it's on an external server.
After all, the total size of these images won't be more than a couple of 10MBs. Seems a bit of a waste of a CD for weeding.

I'd be up for locking the thread, maybe stickifying it, and starting a new one. That should ensure posterity good enough.
Deleting the incidental chat from it may be another idea that would prolong the lifespan, but there's a risk the paging could become broken.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
The chat compliments the photos I think.

That is the sexiest pic of a bridge / structure I've ever seen!

OK so it may be a little out of place on this thread but I took some smashing pics at the Charlatans gigs last weekend and I wanna post some dammit! David Bailey I aint but I think I did OK for a £129 camera which had survived two beer chucking excercises (yeah it got soaked in pishy lager)

That second one is an absolute pearl Derek
(especially considering you'll have been battling against the boingy floor when you were trying to line up a nice steady shot )

Fantastic pictures there James!
Actually, instead of saving all these pictures somewhere, we should publish them in a book I find
Meanwhile, I have some pictures coming up, but waiting for them to be developed
