Not that I'm trying to justify it, and OK it was a hostel so it would be subject to rules of the house and stuff, but surely what someone does in the privacy of their own space (so long as no-one else gets hurt) should be their own business? The right to "live peacefully in the accommodation without nuisance from your landlord" is standard in any tenancy agreement. The fact that the law got involved is even more disturbing.the-happening wrote:Not as mad as trying to have sex with a bicycle!

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

What mh said. Bizarre.
we've got beer and we've got fuel
Agreed. I can't think of any justification in punishing somebody for what was essentially a harmless act that was done alone and behind locked doors! I find the invasion of privacy and the narrow mindedness of the sherrif very concerning. Not to mention the expense of bringing the case to court and the inevitible ridicule the guy would have to face afterwards. I fail to see the attraction myself but it was only a bike for fucks sake - hardly deserving of the Sex Offenders Register

Put it this way...if you had friends staying this weekend, and they needed to be punished, you might ask "her" to "beat my guest" - apparently (s)he's got a whip in her valise...Francis wrote:Mmm... She's gorgeous. Who is she?

...and here, I thought he was being facetious.
Could it really be possible that Francis *wasn't* kidding?! I dunno what to think, now. The implications are staggering.

I can't imagine that Francis' post wasn't facetious
