Rome & Florence record shop advice needed

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Since my wife and me ll be heading next week for a much needed rest over to Italy, i was wondering if anyone knows any good (vinyl prefered) record shop in Florence and Rome?

If you also know where Tenax and Teatro d espero are (if they still exist) i ll add them to the important sightseeings... :innocent:

I was there last year but didn't find either venue, nor any record shops for that matter. To be honest, you'll probably be too busy taking in how mindblowing each city is to do much else. :)

Enjoy the trip!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I was in Firenze in Jan this year, but didn't see a single record shop either.
Italians don't like music. They do however like food, and I suggest you partake of as much munching as you can. I did, and saw that it was good ;D

Get thee to the Uffizi Gallery! You will need a whole day for it, and leave some time for the amazing Da Vinci section at the end 8)

Just for future travelers, i only found a record shop in Firenze, which is near the magnificent Town hall, a very good one. Found nothing in Rome but then again i didn t look that hard...

and the most memorable sights:

uffizi gallery in Firenze
the village of san giminiano with its 7 towers outside Firenze
night walk for hours following the river in Rome
villa borghese in Rome

mindblowing indeed!!

thanks for your help
