Sorry To Bring It Up Again, But...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

...what the fuck is going on on that "Peter's Pop Party" appearance? (for those who haven't seen it, it's eldritch performing i was wrong and more on some mainland pop show, backed by some random grebo's with a bloke playing the drums, for fuck's sake!!!)

ah, if only our chairman hadn't forsaken his post as this forum's editor...then perhaps we might be told the truth. or not. :P

Hey that's The Girls going through their 'housewife-friendly' phase. They appear to have gotten over it by the time they were delivering the sometimes sludgey industrial rockathon of the late 90s. :von:

but where does it end, when people start miming with instruments that aren't on backing-tape? can we expect a jug-band and a tramp playing the spoons?
stylo-phone ensembles and james ray playing the triangle?

There's a whole thing in one of the UTG magazines about this. Eldritch was asked to do this, he had no real band, let alone crew, etc. - so he decided to get some friends and do this for some fun. Apparently they recorded more of it, but only some of it was broadcast. I'll dig it up if I have time, but I think all the UTG's are in the archive?
