Was going to say the same thing - I'll remind Dave and he can remind me. Sorted.Planet Dave wrote:Yeah of course we can work out a deal - I'll pick one up for you and send it over. Deal done, with pleasure (so long as someone reminds me to buy it, in case refreshment has been taken ).radiojamaica wrote:If someone, who's actually going to the gig, could pick up a copy of that new March Violets cd for me... well that would make me a very happy bunny
I'm sure we could work out a deal of some kind

Weebles is leading this quest? I can see the outcome now...
"Well, we failed in the quest to get Koen a CD, but we discovered a new continent, rescued the princess, and Dave slayed Omega Weapon and received the Apocalypse Sword... ah well, you win some, you lose some..."

Its nice to know that dispite being bitter about an ugly split the music is considered the all important thing.
I guess a lot of his vitriol is directed at Loz/Cleo, reading between the lines isn't very difficult in this case.

Reading those old news clippings that Quiffy has online, I would be amazed if Simon weren't still smarting. Dunno about Loz, but Cleo certainly seems to have had it in for him. (On the basis of those interviews alone, she would seem to be a rather arrogant and smug person in general, but of course I know that journos are not to be trusted to report one's comments fairly, as Morrisey could tell you.)Maisey wrote: I guess a lot of his vitriol is directed at Loz/Cleo, reading between the lines isn't very difficult in this case.

Folks... Please be aware that e-tickets and pre-purchased CDs will no longer be available after midnight tonight (Wednesday). However tickets will still be available through all other outlets and on the door at the gig. So don't miss out on what is shaping up to be one of the best events of the year, just because you haven't got your ticket yet...
And if you see an old git with long blond hair and wearing a Violets t-shirt, offer to buy him a drink, since it'll probably be me! (Worth a try... )
See you all on Saturday (and thanks from the Violets and myself to all those people that have helped by putting up posters and dishing out flyers around the country via the Facebook event thingy)...

What's your tipple of choice anyway? I reckon some booze is certainly well earned for the work you've done on making this possible.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I sent off or my e-ticket aaaaages ago (I got my paypal receipt on 17th Nov) and it still hasn't come...
I've emailed Si's own e-mail address (lurkers: don't ask where I got it, or ask me to pass it on) today to pester him about it.

I don't know if I got a code for the t-shirt.. according to Si, via my dad, there WILL be a t-shirt there waiting for me. But whether the ticket/CD code will also work for my t-shirt or not, I dunno.. did anyone else get a code for it?
