Work update

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Busy busy busy!

The guy they took on as my assistant has gone; he was completely useless. For the geeky among you, a taste of the html code he wrote:

Code: Select all

<div align="center"><span class="style1"><img src="spacer.gif" width="100" height="100"></span><span class="style1"><img src="spacer.gif" width="100" height="100"></span><span class="style1"><img src="spacer.gif" width="100" height="100"></span><span class="style1"><img src="spacer.gif" width="100" height="100"></span><span class="style1"><img src="spacer.gif" width="100" height="100"></span><span class="style1"><img src="spacer.gif" width="100" height="100"></span></div>
<p class="style2">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="style2">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="style2">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="style2">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="style2">&nbsp;</p>
Like, WTF?

Anyone looking for work as an assistant php/html programmer/designer in Leeds get in touch ;)

I'm that busy, I can't even face coming online at home most of the time. I'm working 9 and 10 hour days trying to do two people's work! But hey, the job's exactly what I want to be doing, and the people are great.

Looks like FrontPage to me.

At least, I would sincerely hope that no-one would consciously write something like that by hand. :urff:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

So meerkats play Offside too? I thought it was just ordinary cats.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

That's not FrontPage.. I used to use FrontPage and it wasn't as bad as that. :urff:

Though I always tidied the code up by hand afterwards.
