I've been sat here (drunk) for the past 80-120 mins listening to the skull crushing splendour of the wonderful Crash & Burn (Doc Summer's stonking V2 version on youtube) constantly. Yes, CONSTANTLY, gonna take over Ribbons at No.1 for me at this rate! Anyway, I suddenly got a terribly sick feeling in my lower abdominal's that I have no idea when I will next hear this live again.
So, the question I pop fella's & fellaresses is when the hell do U think Andy & friends are gonna next be dusting the good Doc off & coming out to play again?
Ps. Its taken me 20 mins to write this I'm that drunk.... & I'm still listening to it.
Purp.
When next?

Inquiring minds suspect that Mr Catalyst may be busy with other projects for the forseeable future.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

I get the impression that Chris' 'forseeable future' only lasts about six months anyway.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

It would be really very nice and wonderful if we got a studio version of Crash and Burn (maybe with Summer as the b-side). Ain't gonna happen, of course, but I can dream...

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

yeah, next one in that series could be Susanne with Romeo Down on the B-side. Both on 12" vinyl of course...sultan2075 wrote:It would be really very nice and wonderful if we got a studio version of Crash and Burn (maybe with Summer as the b-side). Ain't gonna happen, of course, but I can dream...
