March Violets Gig Arrangements/Meet Up.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just a late shout out to say I was there with my gf (I wore a red velvet shirt). We were both gutted that we missed SBA because of "crap leeds taxi company Amber" but we still both had a good time.

Chris Reed was the revelation of the night for me as I had heard nothing by him post lorries and I was so impressed I bought his album. We both Enjoyed the Violets but boy didnt it get hot! the last part of a set became an endurance test to hear snake Dance, thou I enjoyed the new songs too.

lastly hi to people we meet (mainly maisy!)

Does anybody have the setlist for Chris Reed? Recognised all of the songs, but it'd be still nice to know for sure.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Cheers. ;)
Probably doesn't help that my real name is on my Facebook account, rather than Korin. Oh well, I know which one I prefer, and which use I use.

I have it on good authority that the March Violets will be playing at least one more date, a European festival for anyone interested.

just a couple of words... (i'm finally back here but it took me sevral hours to check only sisters realted threads and it's 4 am now...)

missed the band which name included the word "banshees" (and didn't include "Siouxsie").
all others were great, really great.
Salvation, 25men, Chris Reed and The March Violets. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
you have probably said everything already.
for me Chris Reed was a very good surprise, I love Lorries very much but I had no idea about anything he has done besides it. (bought also his CD - among all other CDs I bought.)
@ allfear - someone told me after Sisters last Astoria gig that we had met there. sorry, I didn't recognize you. it's funny that now, seeing you with a guitar, I recognized you as soon :)
@ Dark - a picture of your setlist is there - in the end of the 3rd page of the gallery of bad, worse and even worse pics - http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e398/ ... ds%202007/
and it was nice to see some of you. until the next time!
