Well, I was more than happy finding out I didn't have to do two Christmas dinners I wasn't looking forward to but one's been replaced with a nice one (and then there's the third one at home too), so I'm quite relaxed with it all now.
Other than that, my wishes are/were not so many, I think!

Doing more than one Christmas dinner... how does that work exactly? I have visions of you dashing all over Antwerp on some kind of "turkey crawl"Obviousman wrote:Well, I was more than happy finding out I didn't have to do two Christmas dinners I wasn't looking forward to but one's been replaced with a nice one (and then there's the third one at home too), so I'm quite relaxed with it all now.

There's one tonight (here), one tomorrow (Holland, family, not looking forward to) and a third one (wasn't looking forward as I thought that'd be elsewhere, but apparently it's here instead and with someone else than I thought it'd be so that's the relief)

I'd rather opt for with some Audio Technica ES943/O microphones ( the on board ones are not that great).

Dear Sanity, I would like:-
Real life slowing back to normal such that I have time to do things like visit here with some kind of regularity. Kinda miss the place but never that far away.
Crazy idea for a Crimble gift, eh?

The comparisons I read on a Belgian HomeRec forum told me otherwise quality of the Zoom seems to be better, in their opinion. But indeed they were talking about the two 'as is' so with the onboards only.Pista wrote:@Iz.

Besides, the Zoom H4 looks better
Thanks anyway for the comment, I might give this some more research then!

@Iz.
Somewhere on the webby there are sample recordings from the edirol with the onboard mics. Not bad, but prone to wind (no jokes pls) & a bit hissy.
Decent mics will make any recorder a great recorder though.

AND you have a wind screen for the H4. I guess it exists for the Edirol as well?
