Xowl & other birds of prey

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

An owl encounter :D:
In the late eighties I took a walk with my doggess (<= Umm, Sinnie, now you see where the confusion came from?) late at dawn when a shadow came across a field towards me without making a noise and apparently intended to land on me.. I said something an waggled my hands which made the owl understand that I am not a fencepole or whatever it might have thought I was, so when it only was ten feet from my head anymore (Where it seemed to intend to land..) it turned around and was off..
..or did I pass the 'man or mouse'-test in favour of malehood? 8)
