A Poem for Andrew (from Roxette songs)

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Everytime I see you oh I try to hide away
but when we meet it seems I can't let go
everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower

Tell me why when I scream there's no reply
when I reach out there's nothing to find
when I sleep I'll break down and cry

I try to call but I don't know what to tell you
I leave a kiss on your answering-machine
oh help me please is there someone who can make me
wake up from this dream

feeling so small I stare at the wall
hoping that you are missing me too

Oh I get up and make myself some coffee
I try to read a bit but the story's too thin
I thank the lord above you're not here to see me
in the shape I'm in

Losing you
things will never be the same
can you hear me call your name
if we changed it back again
things would never be in your hand

Lay it down
pull my heart to the ground
time's getting cold
now the leaves all turn hard and blue

Everytime I see you oh I try to hide away
but when we meet it seems I can't let go
everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower
(Everytime you leave the room) I feel I'm fading like a flower
(everytime I see you)… ooh I'm fading like a rose
(everytime you leave the room) everytime I see you
(evrytime I see you)

Hey, :von: knows where to go if he wants company. There's all of Leeds (and its familiar denizens ;)) at his disposal...

Hi ThousandAndrews, don't listen to them,I too love Eldritch, he's the love of my life, I was always too scared to admit it in public but thanks to you I now can.It was never about the music or the lyrics (especially the lyrics) for me,it was that lovely fragile voice and , of course, how he filled his leather pants.

Ridicule is nothing to be scared of. :innocent:

Odd how the initial post is the least disturbing thing about this thread...

Funny how a thread that starts with a nice poem can turn into something ugly within a couple of hours

Yes, what do you think, huh? It doesn´t have to be ironic in every way if someone posted stuff like the poem..Straight from the heart, you know.. :?
