Quick heads up for fans of The Cure...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just heard Editors version of Lullaby (possibly my favourite Cure song after Disintergration) from the Radio Est.1967 album. Well worth a listen- as good a cover as Ceremony by Radiohead perhaps :?

Not that familiar with Editors but wikipedia describe them as being like Kitchens of Distinction so they can't be all bad :innocent:

Th Editors always strike me slightly as 'Tonight Matthew, we're going to be... The Chameleons'

Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

I think they are really good, especially live, saw them on the small stage at Vega in Copenhagen last spring, intense and loud as it should be :D saw them on the big stage at the same venue a month ago, way too many small kids in the audience and the sound was muddy and low but still pretty okay..

Haven't heard the lullaby cover, need to find it!

can't be any worse than Katie Melua's cover of 'Just like heaven' :urff:
I hear her cry all day, all night
I hear her voice from deep within the wall
Made a cross from knitting needles
Made a grave from hoover bags
Especially for the woman in the wall
