The wee one has a better cover...
‎"We will wear some very loud shirts. We will wear some very wrong trousers."
second has a better cover
Isn't the second one the UK version and the first one for the US? Note sure. Ok book, once you get past the style of writing. Skip the introduction.

T'was that book (the second one incidentally) that re-kindled my interest in the Sisters... got it for Christmas about 5 years ago after having abandoned them in the wilderness for a good few years. I went through a phase of finding them "too goth"

Dude, this isn't fair - I'm currently approximately 900 miles from said tome, and thus can't go relive my girlhood at the moment. Not fair of you to tease, sir!

It's not in my possession at the moment; you can check out more info about the cd version of it (!) at Mick Mercer's website. Wish I could be of more help...alice wrote:You got have the references for this one please ?SINsister wrote:I have this one lying around somewhere at my dad's, from the oulde days when I was one o' them dodgy darklings (*cough*)...

I've always thought this cover sucked immensly.

I can't speak for the book, having never seen it...but that cd set was my first exposure to some fantastic musical heavy-hitters, including Theatre of Hate and James Ray and The Performance... \m/markfiend wrote:Or this one...

The one thing I remember about that book was that Prick Mercer solicited submissions from members of the 'goth public' -- Anita (see 'newsworthy' thread) was furious when she saw the entry 'Michelle Corns and Anita from Leeds'...
