Currently playing Tomb Raider Anniversary on PC. Totally stuck being attacked by the centaurs. I know what to do, just don't have the skillz to do it!
I'm thinking about buying a PS2 or PS3 just so I can get a couple of the Burnout games.

Alas - that's probably the prettiest/coolest one of them all! And I should know - I've had to watch it being played for what feels like eons, now...Dark wrote:I have nearly every FF. Though I refuse to get 11, as I refuse point-blank to get a subscription-based game.

I find it interesting when you just deliberately do what you aren't supposed to do.
Driving in the wrong direction & pranging all the other cars etc. (& executing civillians
)
Now that can be a laugh.

Games never meant much to me, but I was exposed to a Wii this Christmas too and was most impressed. Think it's genius you actually have to do something, as opposed to pressing some random buttons on a square thingy.SINsister wrote:scotty wrote:I've never got into games, I played Golf on a wii at Christmas..............lost interest after about Half an Hour
I feel your pain, man. I was subjected to Wii golf, bowling, and baseball for the *entire flippin' Xmas Day* at my brother's house, as my nephews had just gotten the Wii from dear ol' Santa. To say that I was bored out of my skull would be an understatement.

Hmmm. I do agree with you on that aspect of the Wii system - it requires real physical participation, far above the usual "demands" of mere button pressing.Obviousman wrote:Games never meant much to me, but I was exposed to a Wii this Christmas too and was most impressed. I'm not into sports, though, so my patience was heavily tried on Xmas Day, to say the least.

Played this again last night, after having been away from the game (and my dear little town) for 18 months.

Oh, even though I live by Churchill's wise words when it comes to sports I enjoyed it, probably thanks to the enormous silliness involved in the mental image of seeing me swinging that controller about at random in the airSINsister wrote:Hmmm. Rock would be going outdoors to actually do some form of sports, now that'd be silly! Probably more like a wires and knobs electronic music vs keyboard with all sorts of fancy effects built-in electronic music. And I still don't mind, just as long as the result's goodIzzy HaveMercy wrote:Rock musicians vs. electro-acts debate?Obviousman wrote:Think it's genius you actually have to do something, as opposed to pressing some random buttons on a square thingy.
