Really? Judas Christ is terrible, can't imagine a greater disappointment after the decent Skeletron and utterly sublime Deeper Kind Of Slumber. Or are you referring to their earlier stuff Iz, in which case I couldn't possibly comment having heard not a note. Got me in the mood now though, Slumber is the first cd on when I get home
I was gonna say- are you really trying to suggest that Judas Christ is a good record?
I like Wildhoney/DKOS/Skeletron as far as Tiamat is concerned.
Huge Sisters influence on Skeletron, though I have to admit, Brighter Than The Sun is probably the best Sisters knockoff I've heard.
Older Paradise Lost is alright, though not my favorite. I prefer My Dying Bride and Anathema if we're talking British doom. I'm not a fan after One Second, which I have to admit I enjoyed.
And I like Katatonia quite a bit.
I suppose if I have to make a broad generalization like that I'll pick on Within Temptation or someone like that who doesn't have a quality back catalog to prop themselves up on.
Left at the dead badger.
