Let's face it, he isn't really in Claytown troupe OR The Sisters of mercy is he. He's just a session player who gets paid to play guitar on stage when the ex singers of the aforementioned bands want to play their old band's songs and use the old band's names to sell more tickets.

I guess by hitting the amp, the built-in drummachine starts playing a different rythm !throughthecables wrote: http://fr.youtube.com/profile?user=joebar5th

Scary but I'm afraid there might be some truth in it.biggy wrote:Let's face it, he isn't really in Claytown troupe OR The Sisters of mercy is he. I bet arranged that. Ben is on a m*****n to give Wayne vouchers for tickets to Sisters gigs an consolation price for scoring only second in the contest. :p

if the gargoyle is to be believed, then the huss-bag was once at a sisters gig when he was summoned to von's prescence; whereupon wayne was informed that he was the best guitarist He had ever hadin His band [this obviously precludes MarkMarx as that was their band.
was this a consolation prize from his eldritchness or a kick in the (big, stone) teeth in the spirit of "what you have lost can never be found.." ?

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

That were at them Wembley 1990 gig's. Mick Brown went along with the Huss-bag, Mr Adams declined the invitationeastmidswhizzkid wrote:if the gargoyle is to be believed, then the huss-bag was once at a sisters gig when he was summoned to von's prescence; whereupon wayne was informed that he was the best guitarist He had ever hadin His band [this obviously precludes MarkMarx as that was their band.

and what difference to mr.brown? he probably (at the time, if 'twas pre-claire) had no beef and was along for the lig.
(as well as being a fine drummer mick brown is a bloody nice bloke;as i have it on good authority that mick flew home from a tour of japan to visit a friend of mine ,who was ill after suffering a stroke, who had worked with them as security.

Aye I read in one of the inkies about the meeting, and I understand Mr Adams had a lot of chagrin over the fact he never got any recognition for his part in writing the songs, and the 1985-1986 legal outcome to the break up.eastmidswhizzkid wrote:'cos lurch had still got a smidgeon of pride; at least, enough to not be sent for.Big Si wrote:That were at them Wembley 1990 gig's. Mr Adams will never even pronounce the words "The Sisters Of Mercy", but only refers to them as "My First Band".
Anyway, if being in The Sisters was a full time job (and it bloody well should be, as they should be making album number six RIGHT f**king NOW), Ben wouldn't have time to be in any other bands.

Well, his first proper band. The Exemplaires only made two or three singles.

well who gives a f**k sisters song are the best but in my opinion not that hard to play (and not even talking about percussion ).
History has proved that is the sisters and the sisters are whether you like it or not
sisters will be sisters regardless who the f*ck plays the guitar. everybody probably has his favourite area but let's face it heartlanders, without there are no sisters of mercy.
merciful greetings from belgium
for who ever cares to read this

that hussey interview doesn't mention the sisters at all! dull for me but a step forward for journo-kind when they don't harp back to something that happened 20 years ago (either out of beeing too dull of wit to think of new questions or too dull of wit to have sussed that deliberately pissing off artists is bad for the bums-on-seats of music journalism because onlyfans want to read interviews and nottosee their heroes antagonised.)

Ben the floppy haired guitarist who kept flicking his hair and staring intently at the upper tiers. The man is a bit of laff!
