something to do in leeds: WRATHSTONBURY this Saturday

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Subject: WRATHSTONBURY this Saturday

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Just a quick reminder of the immense event that is about to take place. We at Wrath Records are proud to announce the imminent arrival of:

'WRATHSTONBURY'

Date: SATURDAY 20th SEPTEMBER
Venue: JOSEPH'S WELL, Chorley Lane, LEEDS LS2 9NW. Tel: 0113 2031861
Doors: 1:30pm

A total of 12 bands featuring the might of the Wrath roster plus honoured and distinguished guests.

Line up:

2:00pm - LITTLE JAPANESE TOY
Dreamy guitar band who often sing in binary code

2:45pm - THE BILDERBERG GROUP
Crosby, Stills & Nash fronted pop group who are catchier than the common cold.

3:30pm - SMILEX
Mentally energetic and deceptively diminutive rock from Oxford. Even more obnoxious than les Flames!

4:15pm - BEING 747
Outsider pop country tunesmiths

5:00pm - CAYTO
Glaswegian masters of the unpredictable

5:45pm - FARMING INCIDENT
Farmyard-fixated noisemongers literally from the Wrath stable.

6:30pm - GALITZA
Gleamingly powerful alt guitar anthems

7:15pm - STUFFY/THE FUSES
This standy-up drummer will charm you with his ultra-sonic death rays.

8:00pm - THE SCARAMANGA SIX
Epic rumblings and colourful rock action from The Six who aim to destroy!

8:45pm - CHRIS T-T
His last single 'Eminem Is Gay' was ace and now he's back with a full-on band. As acoustic as the pope is protestant.

9:30pm - LES FLAMES!
Gallic upstarts straight outta Leeds. More obnoxious than a bout of anthrax.

10:15pm - BEACHBUGGY
Double drumming Albini rock from the Crash helmet wearing Doncaster massive.

DJs will be spinning irksome tunes all day long in the main bar. Live visuals are to be provided by Optical Alchemy.
