Producing CDs?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi folks,
I am starting my own record label in the US to release a couple of albums by European punk bands. Any info on good pressing plants would be much appreciated.

They're coaches, businessmen and cops

I just buy white-topped silver CD-Rs, a can of spraypaint and a knife. The end effect is much the same for the limited amounts I release.
Course, if you're making a real label, then feckin' good on you. :notworthy:

Aye, I thought I would have a go at a real label. Obviously all Heartlanders can weed it for free (I owe all you bastards for all the weeds I have received!)

Let me know how you get on, it's an Industry that i've always wanted to get involved in, career wise. Instead of ending up lost in Call Centre Hell in order to meet short term financial commitments :(
