We're drawing closer, less than a month to go before we can celebrate Mr Hussey's retirement.
So...what do we know about the lineup etc? I'm pretty much in the dark with regards what goes on behind the scenes with the Mish. Will any of the original lineup (apart from Wayne) be present?
I realise there are a few Mish type threads. But I thought we could make this one the the gig anticipaction/speculation jobbie.

Had a lot of fun with the m*****n but agree after CIS and the first 1990 tour everything went downhill very quickly, Slink leaving was a major factor, poor old Wolfie didn't have a clue.DJ Nephilimbabe wrote:Keeping The Faith...?

I emailed Adams and asked if he was playing at any of the farewell shows. His response was a little unclear but basically he replied informing that ' It was a good times (back then) but now he's moved on (playing with Spear/TOH and the Alarm and working for Dead Men Walking)'
It would of been nice to see the original four members maybe for one or two songs - that alone would of been worth the admittance fee, but sadly I won't be attending either, cos since Carved in Sand the Mishun in my opinion have been nothing but a Karaoke backing band for Hussey

From what i've heard Mick has said the same.
Wayne has said on the official site that Simon will play some songs on all 4 London dates and selected european dates. He has also said that Mark GT and himself are both in the country and the band are starting rehearsing on Tuesday gone.
Ramone go on to the official mish site's forum as your touring partner "Stoko" has made an appearance.

I'm debating whether or not to come to this. I'm by no means a big Mish fan but... well it is their last, and plus it's in London... any excuse to gallavant down to the capital

More the merrier! It would be good to see you again Claire (spelling correct?).
I would have liked to have seen Adams on stage, but I suppose you can't have it all.
Anyone else coming to all 4 shows?

I'm going on the first and last nights. Looks like tickets are starting to shift, as the downstairs is sold out on some nights now.
Carved/Grains of Sand and Masque re-issues are now up on pre-order at Play

I really like the song Sour Puss (supposedly about Craig's departure??), but it seems to have been ignored in the current batch of re-issue's/compilations.

They are not doing Masque as part of the run of farewell gigs, but the album is being re-issued anyway.
There's something over on the Mish's message board where you can vote for songs from Masque to be played on the First Chapter night, as its felt that the show will be a bit short if they only play the 2 EPs. I've never heard it though, so kinda went over my head.

I'm going to be at the first show in order to the Smurfs...
tbh I feel very sad about this and whilst I once thought I would celebrate The Mish calling it a day it now seems like the end of an era

I just watched the video for Tower Of Strength, my god. I can see why some people think they are a joke, but I think I might have just fallen in love.
Sinse this lot of dates were announced I've re-become a m*****n fan, simpley because I've been getting excited and listening to so much more stuff.
One of the reasons I'm dead chuffed about this 4 day thing is because I envy people like Ramone to my very core (see the bridges burning photos) in that they got to go on followings of these bands! What I would give to follow Rosetta around the countr, I don't know, but it would be a lot. But these 4 nights, I'm gonna wrap everything up, make sure nothing is in the way and just live The m*****n.

I've got that entire week off. I've got a place in London to crash. I'm gonna Keep The Faith like a crazy person.
God I'm excited!
