Currently Predicting ...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Er ... No more 'Predicting' and no more 'Currently' either ...
2008 really will be: The Beginning of The End/The Apocalypse/Accelerated Global Warming/Climate Catastrophe/A Good Harvest for Cider Apples/An 'Invitation' to join Amy in Rehab... or something ... or maybe not.

Is it just me, but the weather sure ain't as it should be for January? (or February either)? The 'news' seems to be reaching new heights (?!) - or should that be depths? I feel like I'm watching a car crash in slow motion - and I want to 'change channels', but it is reality and I can't ...

And the band playing the soundtrack to The Apocalypse is:~ "???????"
- Your suggestions please?
- Oh, and a download-able copy if it is obscure/yet to be released?! :innocent:
They (The Establishment) use sex as an addiction for control, just as they use alcohol and drugs ...

Correction, make that two
- Take all the drugs you want
(& that includes tobacco & alcohol)
- Maybe one day you'll move on too (or maybe not) ...

I predict you will come into some money and meet a tall, dark and (if you're lucky) handsome stranger. One door will close and another one will open, the death of an old way of life may mean the beginning of a new one. Don't fear change, embrace it and follow your bliss.

Oh, and with the moon in Uranus, there's a 99% chance of you dying in a horrible and gory fashion before the end of September

I predict warm sunshine in May, then by the beginning of June it'll start p!ssing down again, and that'll be it for the following 4 months.

And also that Quiffy will fix the Error 500s, only for something else to go wallop shortly after.

Fiver, anyone?
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

People have been predicting the end of the world for (at least) 2000 years. Hasn't happened yet.

While climate change is a reality, I don't buy into the new millenarianism built up around it. OK, we may well kill ourselves off, but life will survive. Life survived the Permian extinction and there's no way we'll generate anything that bad... I hope.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.
