Just in case someone doesn't already have this excellent bit of Sisters stuff, the scrapbook is on ebay:

It's very good, I second that. A good read going through all that old stuff, gives you a really nostalgic feel.

You might as well just leave a fiver on one of them (both might be dangerous) and hope for the best.

They pop up all the time...

Just remember this. This rabble you keep talking about does most of the working, paying and dying in this community.

I gave up on it when it got to 15 quid.

Spent a fortune on Ebay this week already anyway :? Probably for the best I didn't bid for it...

I too have a copy of this "scrapbook" - very interesting, lots of good early pics and a well thought out design.

Well worth £10 - but anything overthat would be a bad idea!

BTW - This book is cheaply photocopied and not a Professional issue. Does anyone know any cheap and helpful printers who would be willing to make up new copies?

I'd pay more cos I think it's mint, but that's what most seem to gon for.

Yeah, I paid about £10. It is tat, really, but very diverting tat. The interviews etc are well worth reading, but the physical artefact is very lo-fi. I agree with Andy - if anyone had the will, they could put out their own copies of this, and distribute them cheaply. Like, as a public service. Then everyone could read it.

How does the scrapbook compare to the Romance and Assassination fan zines? Do they have similar content?

Sorry.

There are two of 'em. I got 'em recently in a trade, about 150 pages each of photocopied articles ranging from about 1982 - 1989.

Probably exactly the same.

In my opinion though the scrapbook is reasonably professional - thick cover (in reptile house stylee) and good quality paper and printing. Even got some naff stained glass style illustrations thrown in for good measure.
