Hmm. Further research on the matter leads me to conclude that what you lot are consuming today are akin to French crêpes, and *not* what I'd had in mind when envisioning "pancakes" (i.e., the North American version, seen here). Interesting. I haven't had a crêpe in years...

Just thought I'd pause and remind you that some of us have eaten at iHoP (Mitt Romneys favourite restaurant) and resent the fact that you live in a place that provides such culture...SINsister wrote:Hmm. French pancakes can be rolled, sweet or savoury... I've never seen an American cook book
I had a face on the mirror
I had a hand on the gun
I had a place in the sun and a ticket to Syria

Isn't this a bit of the old "pot calling the kettle black," though? British cuisine is an oxymoron.silentNate wrote:French pancakes can be rolled, sweet or savoury... I've never seen an American cook book

I can vouch for this.. Lincoln's population is 95% white (of which 90% is white cabbage), Boston is the fattest city in the UK, Gainsborough is pretty much inbred..
And to think I'm heading North
