Bauhaus - Go Away White (review)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I think just perhaps "Go Away" would seem more appropriate.

While most critics tore into it back in 1983, I for one really enjoyed "Burning From The Inside." They stating that it wasn't really a true Bauhaus album, so if they didn't like that, they're gonna hate this.

IMO, the only good thing to come out of it is a proper release of "The Dogs A Vapour." I've also heard that no tour will accompany this album, and all I can say is thank God. Track 7, "Mirror Remains" is about the best collaboration throughout, but it'll take the strength of many to resist the fast forward buttom to get to it!

Bauhaus are dead - long live Bauhaus!

01 Too Much 21st Century
02 Adrenalin
03 Undone
04 International Bullet Proof Talent
05 Endless Summer Of The Damned
06 Saved
07 Mirror Remains
08 Black Stone Heart
09 The Dog's A Vapour
10 Zikir

Boring its way to a record shop early 4th March!

Could you perhaps describe better what the cd sounds like? Does it sound commercial, poppy etc?

This is depressing me. Though I can't honestly say I'm surprised. I knew, when Peter Murphy got fat and bald and old and even his cheekbones couldn't save him, that our God is an unjust and vengeful God with no respect for my girlie crushes

Then I see Bowie at bloody 60(!!!) and I believe again :D

Sorry I'm getting a bit sidetracked here...
