Career divorcee

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Amicable (well, you know, as much as they can be) divorce is a fckng nightmare, god only knows how hard / expensive it must be if you're stuck in a shouty fighty one. :urff:

People do this kind of thing as a career? Obviously they need shooting.

I'm pretty sure that there are many of them around, fact is it isn't that easy to find them.
But then other problems ensue...

For what concerns my little self, the word "forever" always sounded more like a threat than something good.
I'm the type of person who is not made for long lasting relationships and I came to fully understand that after my last split up.
It doesn't bother me, to be fair, at least not at this point of my existence.
Later on, who knows?

Having met both the late Robert and Susan Sangster, were either of them on fire I should not be in haste to micturate upon them. Mr. S was the kind of creepy nouveau tax-exile that the Isle of Man has (unfortunately) had a tendency to attract since the 80s. His wife was a gold-plated copper-bottomed iridium-inlaid diamond-encrusted b*tch who, to be frank, ought to have been drowned at birth.

Ditto, completely. Though in my case, I think I can vouch for "later on" being about the same...

If only I were attracted to most male humans (and vice-versa, of course), I'd be an absolute tart. Reality being what it is, though, I'm a nun. They don't call me "Sister" for nothing, innit... :von:

It's all this taking domestic stuff seriously that I can't handle.

Anyway, she sounds like a money grabbing bitch who should have been drowned at birth for sure. And he was a nob who rushed into things.

If you've got money, you've got to have your wits.

See, I could handle being rich..... 8)

Me too. I'd pay off my albatross of a f*cking student loan, give some money to a few immediate family members, send an arseload to help women and children around the world who're being tortured and degraded, and then disappear to parts unknown for awhile...

I'd leave this country for sure.

Hey I also have a student loan. Not earning enough to start paying it back yet. They'd love to have me in a 9-5 though, but it ain't going to happen.....
