10 years of overbombing...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Hey, I think it's the 10th anniversary of the release of ASCOO today, isn't it?

woohoo. *waves a flag*

It's not hard is it? Record a couple of songs, get a few thousand cds printed up, sell them through their website or use a subsidiary company, sit back and watch the coppers roll into the pension fund.

10 years since ASOOB and what have we (the fans) had NOTHING - not even a "By Your Leave!" - unless you include that Suzanne AVI from a few months back!

I dont why I bother sometimes ;-)

Even "The M******" are more prolific that Andrew "Bloody" Eldritch !

What the f**k did he wear for the first half of the nineties more like. A few years in leather and he forgets how to dress himself...

Here's a spooky coincidence. Tinkerbell is (obviously) the name of a fairy, and in his response to tinkerbell's question, Jim used the word 'trow', which is an old Scottish word for... fairy!

As Toyah Wilcox would say, "It's a mythstery, it's a mythstereeeeeey"

I think I am, officially, a sad bastard.

* SMACK!! *

ASCOO, my dear Ziggy, is the abbreviation for A s**t Cd Of Oldies. It's a CD brought out by a rather famous band, of which I cannot recall the name at this moment.
Ah.....the bliss of Belgian Jupiler......

*DOOF* - Take that You Penguin! (Think Batman)

ASCOO - is the new OS from Microsoft - it was released 10 years ago - to zero publicity and was all shiny and black and marked the end of an era and the end of another one!

Back to you IZZY

'Twas also a cheesy song by a dodgy seventies band, the name of which I do not even CARE to remember. Went something like:
"A-S-C-O-O! Singing A-S-C-O-O! Singing A! Asocial. Singing S! Supergothic. Singing C! Controversial. Singing O! O So Greedy. Singing ooooo-OOOOOOOO-ooooooo!!!"
Etc...etc....

IZZY.

IZZY - I took it but it must have been a dud - all I got was a huge tax bill, a headache and half a cat!

ASCOO has been known to infect small useless mammals (hamsters/gerbils/mice) where it causes their owners to spend vast amounts money / time / energy etc on a certain beat combo who prefer to play games than "play the game"

IZZY - your move!
